Itinerary
After arriving at the Paro airport, you will be transferred to Thimphu. Check into your hotel. The first day of your Bhutan tour lets you explore at leisure. You can either spend the afternoon relaxing or go out to visit the interesting Centenary Farmer's Market (only open on weekends). Fill your evening with a relaxing visit to the Tashichho Dzong or The Monk Body’s block (between 5:30- 6:00 PM) as you stroll around the town. Return to your hotel for a cozy overnight stay in Thimphu.
Wake up to a delicious breakfast and get prepared for a sightseeing tour of thimphu on the second day of your 5 nights 6 days Bhutan tour. Start by visiting the National Memorial Chorten, followed by a visit to the popular Buddha point known as Kuensel Phodrang for panoramic views of Thimphu valley. Your next stop will be the Changangkha Monastery, the oldest temple in the valley and then a visit to the Takin Zoo. Continue your drive and reach the valley of Punakha. Visit the Punakha Dzong, built in the 17th century at the confluence of Po and Mo Chu rivers. Afterwards, Visit Chhimi Lhakhang in Punakha.
